One of my best November riding companions have found me at Café du Cycliste. I remember they were already coming few times and after a short chat and some nice exchange of courtoisies we’ve agreed to do a cycling tour together on one of the following days. They flew from NY and stayed +/- 3 weeks in the region (including a little getaway in Italy - Portofino).
Short note on their équipement - they were both riding the Ritchey bikes they’ve brought. Fun fact - they enter inside a normal travel luggage case perfectly, which solves the biggest logistics issue - bike transportation.
The day we’ve decided to ride together I was finishing my shift at 1 PM - perfect timing for a light spin to the St. Paul de Vence and back to Nice.
What I absolutely adore about their attitude and what made us connect from the very beginning was...food 🤣. Basically, any given itinerary they would cycle in the region was based off on the restaurants they would find.
As December is coming to an end and New Year is fast approaching it seems fair to do a little 2022 sum up and shed some light on 2023 projects.
Among my professional highlights of 2022 I would definitely name new position at Café du Cycliste - my long-time dream and a place that had (and still has, as proves the above post) a tremendous impact on my cycling WHY, WHERE and with WHOM. I am super happy to be part of this dynamic universe, being it a company that ' have the courage to make a change'.

Some cycling collaboration with Captain Wild and Biko Cycling Holidays - TBA
Developing further my event agency for local cycling tours & tastings (team-buildings and corporate CSR events for companies) "French Riviera Like a Local" conjointly with CCI of Nice
